Lace + Stripes = Love

When I saw this T-Shirt it was love at first sight, it is a brilliant collaboration of Ryo Liu, a former model with a MFA from Pratt Institute; and Peter Hsia a business graduate from the NYU Stern School of Business.

Founded in the heart of New York’s fashion hotspots in 2005. Pinkyotto has since bloomed into the global fashion scene. Famous for its unique but broad range of style, it promises all you fashionable ladies to add a unique addition to your closets.

Fashion's Night Out. The D from DC Report

I took some time off studying and went to see what  FNO was all about. I'm glad I did!

For a city known as the heart of American politics (and not it's fashion), I wasn't expecting much. I was wrong. I cross M Street almost every day. The shops close early and the street becomes deserted by sunset. That wasn't the case on september 6th! M Street was packed with people, and they looked... well they looked different. Fashion's Night Out was not about the latest trends, otherwise we would have all looked like a giant catwalk occupying DC.

Some people really stood out 

The coolest tiaras ever!

For those poor souls that came straight from work, FNO had them covered.

Vitamin Water was in it too.

I've never seen UGG looking so fancy.

                                   Keihl's had great music and a very long line for free facials.

Urban Outfitters weren't too happy with the FNO shirts, so they had a "add a little fun to your tees" section.

And it was all proudly American made.

The Rise and Fall of the Camo Print

There are a few items a girl should never throw out of her closet; like Camo Print, some things always make their way back into the Fashion loop. And since Lace is always a favourite, I tried to combine the two for an evening outfit. In case you wanted a more casual ensemble, throw in a tee with the camo and prehaps a nice pair of laofers and you're ready to go.

recently been introduced to De Grisogono Jewellery and Accessories, and to put it simply, we've fallen in love! easily topping our "want list".  Their new TONDO By Night wrist watch is simply amazing, reminiscent of a very fancy Glow-in-The-Dark; the concept is simple: exposed to light (Artificial or Natural) the watch stores light and glows day or night; illuminating the beautiful precious stones embedded and the mother of pearl strewn in the case and buckle. What caught our eyes is the glowing,  highlighted self-winding mechanism under the watch face.
